Crafted from Mahogany, the BFG features a Maple top for the ultimate tonewood combination; it’s rich, resonant and nicely balanced. Thanks to Gibson’s Ultra-Modern weight relief you get enhanced resonance and sustain without the back-busting weight, a real nice feature.
The Mahogany neck has a rounded profile and 22 frets, the usual Rosewood fingerboard has been replaced with a torrified Granadillo one, it has plenty of sustain and feels really organic.
The Gibson BFG Les Paul comes armed with two open coil humbuckers, delivering a fat and beautifully smooth feel, just what the BFG is known for. Offering great clarity and dynamic response they can handle a wide range of styles and demands.
