With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning Aged Olympic White, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic heavy relic ageing.
The AA-Grade Flame Maple neck features a 9.5"-12" compound radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60's style oval C shape and 21 Sanko 6105 frets offers a really comfortable playing experience, while the AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop NAMM 2017 '63 Relic Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a pair of hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups and Fender's highly revered Greasebucket tone circuit, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection.
