With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop Blackguard model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning Aged Natural, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic relic ageing. Based around a '51 Nocaster body, this thinline body is nicely balanced and super light.
The riff sawn Maple neck features a 7.25"-9.5" compound radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The V shape profile, 21 frets, heavy relic neck finish and flash coat lacquer offer a really organic playing experience.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop NAMM 2018 Blackguard Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a pair of hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard, it boasts a versatile and well balanced selection.
