The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '62 Stratocaster Journeyman is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in a majestic Candy Apple Red Journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The AA grade Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade dark Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and 21 frets, the '62 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '60 Strat style oval C neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Custom Shop 62 pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. This combination is super versatile and offers the complete Stratocaster experience.
This guitar is used but in really nice condition. The finish is ageing really nicely and it has opened up beautifully, it's a stunning guitar! Complete with hardcase and case candy, this guitar is a great example of Fender Custom Shop production.
