The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster Relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The lightweight Alder body is finished in a classic 3 Tone Sunburst relic nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The relic finish gives the appearance of a guitar fresh from the road, authentically aged it looks the real deal, while the tortoiseshell pickguard just adds to the vintage appeal.
The plain grain Maple neck features a 10" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The '60s style oval C shape and 21 medium jumbo frets offers a really comfortable playing experience, while the AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury.
With a trio of handwound Fender Fat 60s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
