The basswood body is subject to a special treatment that delivers the Caramelised quality. This heat and drying technique makes the wood feel and sound much older than it is, well into the phase where the wood opens up nicely. With a Birdseye Maple top, it's a tone wood dream team, supremely resonant and dynamic this guitar is really well balanced. Finished with a satin lacquer, it delivers mega tone.
The Caramelized Flame Maple neck and fingerboard features 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12"-16" compound radius. It's smooth, fast and a great platform for both heavy chordal work and slick, rapid lead lines.
With a duo of humbuckers flanking a singlecoil you get multiple tonal options. These Charvel Custom pickups offer mega versatility, perfect for a player like Guthrie Govan. With a Charvel tremolo bridge, you get great tuning stability and intonation.
This guitar is used but in really nice condition, there is a very small knock by the jack plug and some very light surface marking across the top and back, this is almost unavoidable on these guitars though due to the soft finish. Its in great shape and available for a great price!
