With a Mahogany body and a solid Sitka Spruce top, finished in Brown Violin Semi-Gloss, it has a really well defined low end and nice organic tone. The body shape is nice and small and offers a really comfortable playing experience whether standing or sitting.
The Mahogany neck is super easy to play and features a Cultured Maple fingerboard, this fretless board is super smooth and thanks to the great intonation and great playing action, it offers a real double bass like vibe.
Loaded with an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp and Fishman Sonicore pickup, this acoustic bass is perfect on stage, in the studio or even just sitting around the bbq. It's great value for money and offers a great introduction to the world of acoustic bass playing.
