Taylor 562ce Grand Concert 12-Fret 12-String
Two lots of 12's to account for here, this new model for Taylor is both a 12-string, and a 12-fret join to the body. It's definitely an unusual setup being also a 12-string on the smallest Grand Concert sized body, resulting in a very comfortable guitar to play.
The 12-fret join gives the guitar a 24-7/8" scale length makes the strings easier to push down, and go a long way towards making this 12-string as easy to play as many other 6 strings.
The top is Tropical Mahogany finished with the shaded edge-burst and the back and sides are also solid Mahogany too, this tone wood is traditionally a gentler and warmer tone wood which results in a lovely balance against the 12-string. This guitar would be spot on in the studio or sitting nicely into a live setting.
Stunning to look at, easy to play, gorgeous tone, it also comes fitted with the excellent Taylor Expression 2.0 system and ships in a hard case as standard.
