Another new model for 2016, a reworked 510e Dreadnought with some new significant tweaks.
Sporting a Lutz Spruce top and a back and sides of tropical Mahogany. This is a fine tone wood combination, capable of woody and punchy tones, combined with the Dreadnought size, this guitar is a cannon. The Lutz spruce is an interesting new tone wood choice, it's a lot like Sitka, but with a quality that comes closer to Adirondack.
The neck is made from a Tropical Mahogany and unusual for Taylor it's a 14-fret neck join with the slotted head stock. The gorgeous feel of the guitar is more suited perhaps towards chord strummers and singers.
Ships with the Expression 2.0 pickup system which is the best on the market, also ship in a Taylor hard case as well.
