Martin HD-28 Used
Martin are world renowned for their ability to craft beautiful guitars perfect for the working musician. With their effortless playability and stunning design, they have really rich history and are considered one of the very best acoustic manufacturers around.
The Martin HD-28 is one of Martins most popular models and delivers the classic dreadnought construction and tone and is favoured by country heroes Sturgill Simpson and John Moreland. With a solid Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides, the Martin HD-28 is equally at home fingerpicking or strumming big, brash chords. With its rich tonal variation and lovely organic feel, it's the perfect partner for players who need a guitar that can compete right across the board.
With its Low Profile, Standard Taper design, Select Hardwood neck and Ebony fingerboard, it offers a smooth and comfortable playing surface that is perfect for working players and beginners alike. It offers a truly crystal clean clarity and a sweet, bright tone.
This guitar came in on a part exchange and does bear signs of use; we have tried to highlight this as best possible through our high quality studio shots. There are several small blemishes across the top and back of the guitar and a few minor dings and scrapes on the sides, it is however only cosmetic and doesn't affect the playability or tone of this powerhouse guitar. At some stage a crack has developed across the top edge, this has been repaired though and the guitar is structurally sound.
Complete with a case, this guitar is available for a fantastic price and would make a worthy companion for any player.
