The Gibson Custom Advanced Jumbo Supreme Vintage is a Gibson Montana classic. Back in the ‘30s, Gibson builders set about building the most powerful and best sounding flat top guitar ever, the result was the Custom Advanced Jumbo Supreme. Limited to just 300 models on the original ‘30s run, this stunning Montana recreation just oozes vintage soul. Handcrafted using the same techniques and in the same facility as the legendary J-200's and J-45's, it’s a great edition to the current Gibson roster.
With a thermally-aged Adirondack red spruce top on top of a beautiful select Rosewood body, this guitar is stunningly resonant and has great natural sustain. The Rosewood offers a rich tonal variation that is great for full bodied strumming and more subtle finger style playing. With traditional hide glue bracing, it's one step closer to true vintage tonality.
A Mahogany neck boasts a bound Rosewood fingerboard, with a 25.5” scale length it’s comfortable and familiar. With mother of pearl inlays it retains a classic vibe and offers a touch of vintage Gibson appeal.
With a great Gibson hardcase included the Gibson Custom Advanced Jumbo Supreme Vintage is a modern take on authentic construction techniques. Perfectly suited for all acoustic players, it's a real winner!
