The Modern Deluxe Series is a brand new line that combines the classic Martin vintage mojo and sophistication with a modern performance focussed outlook. It offers a completely unique playing experience. The Martin 000-28 is one of 4 classic Martins to get the Modern Deluxe treatment!
With an incredible Sitka Spruce top you get a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Pair that with the East Indian Rosewood back and sides and you have a tonal dream team, it's visually and tonally stunning. The top also has the amazing VTS treatment, which allows Martin to make a brand new guitar sound like an 80 year old vintage instrument. The top is heat treated to remove the moisture, which allows it to have the quickest response and the most detailed tone.
The neck is an absolute dream to play. With a High Performance Taper, 16" radius, 24.9" scale length and a 1 3/4" nut width, this Martin is supremely comfortable and smooth underhand. The Ebony fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck; beautifully crafted it's a great feature.
Other new features include a two-way Titanium truss rod, Liquidmetal bridge pins and stylish Gold frets. This guitar perfectly bridges the gap between vintage and modern, with stunning results!
