The M-20 is an iconic guitar from Guild, perhaps their most famous model due to Nick Drake posing with one on the front cover of Bryter Layter. It is built with all-solid mahogany for a beautiful tone. Guild's USA range always sound and look fantastic and it's clear to see why they are now iconic guitars in their own right. This model first came into the Guild catalogue in the late 60s. The satin nitrocellulose finish on this guitar not only looks beautiful but allows the guitar to vibrate freely. This is a great instrument that offers the mellowness and mid-range charm that an all-mahogany guitar gives whilst having plenty of volume and projection for fingerpicking.
The nut width on this guitar is 44.5mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood and the guitar comes complete with a deluxe humidified wooden hard case.
