This guitar is built using the classic combination of a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. This combination has stood the test of time for good reason and is probably the most used acoustic guitar wood set in the world due to having excellent balance and being suitable for every genre.
This is the smallest full-size guitar that Guild currently makes; it excels at fingerpicking due to its size and the 12th fret neck-join. It is also the only model they currently make with a slotted headstock - a look which suits a parlour well. The nut width on this guitar is 44.5mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood.
This is a great sounding, well-made instrument that offers years of Guild's expertise and design innovation.
