This guitar is built using the classic combination of a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. This combination has stood the test of time for good reason and is probably the most used acoustic guitar wood set in the world due to having excellent balance and being suitable for every genre.
One of the most popular body shapes in the guitar world, the OM is possibly the most versatile of all guitar designs. Due to its dimensions, it handles strumming and fingerstyle equally well, with tremendous tonal balance. The nut width on this guitar is 44.5mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood.
This is a great sounding, well-made instrument that offers years of Guild's expertise and design innovation. It comes complete with a high-quality padded case and a built-in pickup for amplifying the guitar when effects or more volume is desired.
