With a Maple top on a Mahogany body, the G6228TG Jet is finished in the classic Midnight Sapphire. The flagship model in the Gretsch Solid Body range, the Jet has a really rich harmonic power. By letting air resonate between the top and the body through its chambered Mahogany construction, the Jet has a super lively and articulate tone.
The Mahogany neck features a U profile, comfortable underhand and offering a great position for both heavy chordal work and more delicate lead playing. The Ebony Fingerboard boasts a 12" radius and 22 Medium Jumbo frets. It also bear the classic Big Block inlays and give that familiar Gretsch aesthetic.
