With a Tiger Flame Maple top on a Mahogany body, the G6228 Jet is finished in Deep Cherry Stain. The flagship model in the Gretsch Solid Body range, the Jet has a really rich harmonic power. By letting air resonate between the top and the body through its chambered Mahogany construction, the Jet has a super lively and articulate tone.
The Mahogany neck features a U profile, comfortable underhand and offering a great position for both heavy chordal work and more delicate lead playing. The 22 Medium Jumbo frets bear the classic aged Pearloid Thumbnail inlays and give that familiar Gretsch aesthetic.
Loaded with a pair of all-new Gretsch Broad'Tron BT65 pickups, designed by Tim Shaw, you get vintage growl with superb clarity. They truly capture the guitar's sonic palette and produce powerful mids, extended lows and an exceptionally clear, yet smooth high end.
