Gibson SG Special - Faded Pelham Blue Left Handed
Discontinued finish - get in quick!
The iconic Gibson SG, one of the all-time great guitars and the new SG Special is one seriously cool guitar!
Originally launched in 1961 as a temporary replacement for the single cutaway Les Paul, the SG gained favour with rock and blues players who were impressed by its innovative design. The Special debuted shortly after as a middle ground between the Standard and the budget Junior models, it offered powerhouse Gibson tone but without some of the more prominent appointments such as mother of pearl block inlays and binding.

A classic all Mahogany body finished in a gorgeous Faded Pelham Blue gives this guitar a beautiful modern Gibson look while a Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard, with its fast and comfortable slim taper neck profile, enhance the rich tone.
The sweet mid-range crunch comes from a pair of P-90 pickups, sitting perfectly between a single coil and humbuckers, it's a nice take on vintage Gibson tone. It's a great example of timeless design.
