King of the Flat-Tops, the Gibson SJ-200 is a household name for guitar players all over the world. Since its debut back in 1937, the SJ-200 has become a firm favourite with players as varied as Elvis, Pete Townshend and Bob Dylan. With its distinctive appearance and beautifully balanced tone, it's a guitar that has certainly passed the test of time. This Murphy Lab SJ-200 pays homage to the 1957 edition of this legendary instrument. 

With a thermally aged Sitka Spruce top paired up with some truly stunning hand picked figured maple this SJ-200 boasts a bold, lively tone with loads of power. This guitar really comes alive when you dig in hard! With a period correct aged Vintage Sunburst this SJ-200 really does look the real deal, the lacquer cracking and attention to detail is truly second to none!

This 1957 SJ-200 features a rounded Maple neck which feels great underhand, allowing for quick and easy movements right across the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is adorned with traditional Moth of Pearl Graduated Crown inlays and 20 vintage frets.It's comfortable, poised and ready to play. 

The Gibson Murphy Lab SJ-200 is full to the brim with vintage vibe and mojo. Complete with period correct case.
