The Gibson L-00 is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars of all time. Gibson was a pioneer in the development of the small body guitars in the beginning of the 1900s with its "L-Series Small Body acoustics" and the Murphy Lab L-00 pays respects to those amazing guitars, while making it comfortable for todays guitar player. This Murphy Lab L-00 is inspired by the truly stunning 1933 spec model
The Gibson L-OO features Mahogany back and sides and fuses it with the tonal quality of thermally aged Red Spruce. With an organic and beautifully balanced tone, Red Spruce offers plenty of mids and great harmonic overtones. The aged Ebony finish is visually stunning and features some awesome lacquer checking, the attention to detail is second to none!
The Mahogany neck is super comfortable and great for both bold chordal work and subtle fingerstyle playing. It features a traditional V profile which efficiently fills your hand and feels great to grip. The Rosewood fingerboard is smooth and extremely comfortable. It is adorned with traditional Mother of Pearl dot inlays and features a 44.958mm nut width.
The Gibson Murphy Lab L-00 is full to the brim with vintage vibe and mojo. Complete with period correct case.
