The 2019 G-45 Studio is a Gibson modern classic. Designed to bring the magic of Gibson acoustic to a lower price point, this is a great edition to the Gibson roster. Handbuilt in Bozeman, Montana it shares the same heritage as its more illustrious siblings such as the J-45 and J200.
With a Sitka Spruce top on top of a beautiful Walnut body, this guitar is stunningly resonant and has great natural sustain. The Walnut offers a rich tonal variation that is great for full bodied strumming and more subtle finger style playing.
A Utile neck boasts a Walnut fingerboard, with a 16" radius, 24.75 scale length and Advance Response profile it’s comfortable and familiar. Utile is a Mahogany like wood with fantastic tonal qualities. With mother of pearl dot inlays it retains a classic vibe and offers a touch of vintage Gibson appeal.
With a Fishman Sonitone pickup system as standard you can plug in and play anywhere. With great clarity and note definition the Sonitone is one of the best acoustic preamp systems around, a perfect match for the G-45 Studio. With a G-Series hardcase included, this is a fantastic guitar at an incredible price!
