The Gibson Flying V has always been one pretty radical guitar, initially launched back in '58 as part of Gibson's attempt to embrace futuristic design, it's been a players favourite ever since. Played by the likes of Lonnie Mack, Albert King and on occasion Hendrix, it's one cool cat'
The Gibson Custom '59 Flying V is the ultimate way to experience what makes the Flying V so special. With a solid Mahogany body, this Custom is finished in stunning Sunshine Antique Natural with Gold hardware. The ageing of this guitar has been tastefully done, it is a great representation of a well loved and played original. I think it's fair to say it's a real eye catcher.
The Flying V Custom is loaded with a duo of Gibson Custom Buckers. These humbuckers deliver that tone that only a Gibson can produce. These are some of the most historically accurate PAF clones around, really capturing the magic of that golden era.
