The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop LTD '58 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
Sorted for weight, the Alder body with 57 style deep body contours is finished in a lovely India Ivory nitrocellulose lacquer, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The Heavy Relic is unbelievable; the attention to detail here is meticulous and super authentic.
The Dark Tint 2A Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish and looks amazing with its heavy fret ghosting. With a 9.5" radius, 21 6105 frets, a 1.650" nut width and a contoured heel joint. The '58 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 54 Strat Soft V profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing. Loaded with an Custom Shop Vintage bridge and vintage Fender tuners you can expect great tuning stability.
With the Stratocaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '58 Stratocaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Strat sound. Loaded with a trio of Handwound Strat Fat 50's single-coil pickups, the tone of this guitar is a treat.
