Description

The Gibson Flying V has always been one pretty radical guitar, initially launched back in '58 as part of Gibson's attempt to embrace futuristic design, it's been a players favourite ever since. Played by the likes of Lonnie Mack, Albert King and on occasion Hendrix, it's one cool cat.

The Gibson 80's Flying V honours the instruments rich history and is based on the highly sought-after 1984 models.

The body is crafted from solid Mahogany for a deep, resonant tone, perfect for embracing the heavier side of life, the body is really nicely weighted and balanced. Finished in Ebony, it looks as cool today as it did 60 years ago.

The Mahogany neck rocks a Slim Taper neck profile, 22 frets, a 24.75" scale length and a killer Rosewood fingerboard. Super stable and supremely comfortable, the 80’s Gibson Flying V is a real powerhouse.

Loaded with 80s Tribute humbuckers, this guitar really rocks. Certainly not confined to just rock, this guitar can handle blues, jazz or country licks with no problems!

Housed in a Gibson hardshell case, this Flying V is definitely a highlight of the range.
