Fender Paramount PM-2 Parlour Mahogany | Natural
There's something very enticing about an all-mahogany parlour. This guitar represents amazing value for money as not only is it an all-solid build, it also comes with a hard case and a humidifier.

The balance between simplicity and astehetic appeal on this guitar is spot on. There's a lovely organic look to the open-pore mahogany, especially with the satin finish. However, some subtle touches such as the checkerboard purfling on the binding and rosette combined with the headstock inlay give some visual appeal to stop the guitar from looking to plain.
The parlour body size is not only comfortable for those who prefer sitting with a smaller-bodied guitar; it also serves to give a beautiful tone when fingerpicking. Combined with a capo on the fingerboard, lots of mellow and full tones are available. The quartersawn and scalloped X bracing is a classic choice that gives excellent stability and acoustic properties whilst a bone nut and saddle will transfer energy succesfully between the strings and the guitar itself.
The guitar comes fitted with strap buttons so it is ready to be played in a standing position if desired. Having no pickup keeps things simple for a player who has no intention of plugging an acoustic guitar in. It keeps the guitar light and eliminates any wires and electronics on the inside. The guitar is strung with coated 80/20 0.12-0.52 strings. This is a standard choice that offers a long lasting tone (due to the coating) and a perfect balance between ease of playing whilst not sacrificing tone.
