Kenny Wayne Shepherd is a former child prodigy turned modern blues icon. Enamoured by Stevie Ray Vaughan at a young age, KWS has developed his own intricate style of Texas Blues and Roots Rock which has wowed audiences for the best part of 25 years. The 2020 Fender Kenny Wayne Shepherd Stratocaster is the latest iteration of his signature guitar, and it’s a real peach!

The chambered Ash body is finished in a lush Transparent Sonic Blue in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The 4 ply pearloid pick guard and chrome hardware add a slick flavour and keep this vintage vibes Strat looking modern and fresh.

The quartersawn Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard has a smooth finish. With a 7.25" compound radius and 21 jumbo frets, the KWS Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The early 60’s C profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.

With a trio of custom voiced Kenny Wayne Shepherd Strat single coils it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat.
