The Fender Jazz Bass is one of the most popular bass guitars ever put into production, with its timeless design and incredible versatility; it has been a staple in the roster for over 60 years. Equally as iconic is Canadian bass wizard and all round musical genius, Geddy Lee. The front man, bass player, synth supremo for prog rock trio Rush. In the later years of Rush, Geddy favoured his signature Fender Jazz bass.
The Alder body is typically comfortable thanks to the lush sweeping curves, and with a crisp 3-Tone Sunburst finish it looks real slick. The Maple neck features a modern thin C profile, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big low end root notes or technical work further up the neck. 20 medium jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius make the Geddy Lee Jazz feel familiar and supremely comfortable.
Loaded with Fender American Vintage single coil Jazz Bass pickups, you get authentic Fender tone. These pickups keep one foot in the past while adding a little bit of extra bite, there's no mistaking that signature Fender bass thump.
