Please Note: This guitar is Pre-Owned and is in Good condition - however it does feature various chips to the body's finish that are not in line with the "Lush Closet Classic" finish type listed on the spec sheet and are more reminiscent of a "Journeyman Relic." The Fender Custom Shop Tweed hardcase also features a fair amount of wear to its textile exterior. Introducing the Fender Custom Shop 50s Tele LCC, a guitar that embodies timeless craftsmanship and authentic 1950s design. This instrument features a 2-piece sorted ash body with a stunning Lake Placid Blue Lacquer finish. The "Lush Closet Classic" finish offers a vintage appeal, showcasing moderate finish checking, hardware oxidation, and mild discolouration for the look of a well taken care of genuine 50's Tele. Complementing its aesthetic, the guitar comes with a 4-ply Brown Tortoiseshell pickguard.
The neck of the Fender Custom Shop 50s Tele LCC is a work of art in itself, constructed from Maple 5/4 Quarter Sawn wood and adorned with a Nitro Lacquer finish that sports a worn and dirty rear for added character. The AAA Rosewood fretboard features 21 Sanko 6105 frets and Micarta White Dot Inlays, providing both style and playability. With a 9.5" fretboard radius and a Large "C" neck profile, it offers a solid and familiar feel to the player.
In terms of hardware, this Telecaster is equipped with a Nocaster Bridge featuring Gatton Saddles, ensuring excellent sustain and intonation. Vintage Tuners with the iconic Fender logo add to the vintage charm.
With the Telecaster design considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop 50s Tele needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. Equipped with a Twisted Tele Single-Coil Neck Pickup and a 51 Nocaster Single-Coil Bridge Pickup you certainly get that famous Tele' tone.
