The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
An Alder body is finished in a cracking Aged Vintage White. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The tinted Rift Sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a super tasty Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5"-12" compound radius, 21 Jumbo frets, '60s style oval C profile and the awesome contoured heel this Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop Dual-Mag II pickups this Fender Custom Shop delivers all those classic Strat tones we know and love, and thanks to the Closet Classic Vintage Trem and Vintage Tuners you can rest assured of great stability.
