The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Poblano Strat is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a lush Aged Black Super Heavy relic finish. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The Quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and an relicd Maple fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and 21 jumbo frets, the Poblano Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 1951 "U" neck profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing, it measures .915" at the 1st fret and 1.000" at the 12th fret, it also features a 1.650" Nut Width.
The defining feature of this awesome piece is the inclusion of a trio of Hand Wound Poblano pickups which deliver all the sweeping tones you would expect from a Strat. Supplied with a Fender Custom Shop hard case, this is a real sweet example of Custom Shop quality.
