The lightweight Ash body is finished in a stunning Faded Aged 3-Tone Sunburst, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic relic ageing. The Journeyman relic, is a light ageing that features some lacquer checking and oxidisation of the hardware, no heavy marking or paint missing.

The quartersawn AA Flame Maple neck features an AAA Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 style oval C shape profile, 21 frets and lightly tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.

With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop 72 Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Fender tone.
