The traditional Alder body is finished in a stunning Aged Olympic White nitro lacquer. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. This guitar doesn’t feature any kind of major dings or dents, but the colour of the finish has been aged to simulate years of sunlight exposure, the attention to detail and care is truly incredible!
The quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With an AAA sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius and 21 jumbo frets, the '60 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 60 style oval C profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.
With a trio of hand wound Texas Special pickups, it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. With a crisp harmonic content and a refined and precise tone, Texas Specials are some of the most versatile single coils around, a great choice for this guitar!
