The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '63 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Alder body is finished in a super cool Aged Fiesta Red nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Quatersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With 9.5" radius and 21 Narrow Tall frets, the '63 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '63 Strat Style "C" neck shape which measures .830" at the 1st fret and 1.00" at the 12th. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Fat 60s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
