The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop 59 Stratocaster super heavy relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A lightweight Alder body is finished in a majestic Aged Vintage White or Chocolate 3TSB relic finish. Period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The heavy, dirty checking on this guitar is super authentic, a real work of art!
The Quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard. The '59 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a Large "C" neck shape, a 9.5" radius, 21 6100 frets and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Fat 60s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
