The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '56 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The lightweight Alder body is finished in a super cool Super Faded Aged Sea Foam Green nitro lacquer, this Strat boasts a Journeyman finish. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Rift Sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 7.25”-9.5" radius and 21 medium vintage frets, the '56 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a ’54 Soft V neck shape and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of Fender hand wound Tomatillo pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
