An Alder body is finished in a lush Aged Gold Sparkle Relic finish, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The Tinted Rift Sawn Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 style oval C shape profile, 21 Narrow Tall frets and a 25.5" Scale Length make this one super comfortable guitar.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop 60s Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Hand-Wound "open" Nocaster pickup in the neck and a Hand-Wound Nocaster pickup in the bridge. This set delivers all those classic spanky Tele tones. Thanks to the '58-'63 Tele Bridge and Vintage Tuners you can expect great stability.
