This model features a mahogany body with multi-ply top binding for a refined appearance and rich sustain. The RD body shape includes a rear tummy cut, ensuring comfort during extended playing sessions. The mahogany neck is designed with a Medium C profile and a long neck tenon for added stability and sustain. The bound ebony fretboard has 22 medium jumbo frets, providing smooth playability and precise note articulation, while the 42.85mm Corian nut enhances tuning stability.
The RD Custom's 25.5" scale length offers several benefits, including increased string tension for improved clarity in drop tunings and enhanced note definition across the fretboard. The bound headstock is equipped with Grover Rotomatic tuners for reliable tuning stability. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with an aluminium stop bar tailpiece ensures excellent intonation and sustain, making this guitar suitable for various playing styles.
