The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Limited Custom '62 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A sort for lightweight Ash body is finished in a Bleached 3-Tone Sunburst nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The medium tint Quartersawn Roasted Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard and with a Reverse Headstock, it's a real looker. With a 9.5" radius and 21 jumbo 6100 frets and a 1.650" nut width this guitar is posed and ready for action.
It also features a '60 Style Oval "C" neck shape which measures .790" at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th fret. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Fat 60s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
