The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '65 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a super cool Aged Daphne Blue Sparkle nitro lacquer, this Strat boasts a Relic finish. This is a very lightly aged nitro finish; which gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The 3A Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets, the '65 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a 65 Strat “C" neck shape which measures .820" at the 1st fret and .974" at the 12th. It also includes a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender hand wound Fat 60’s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
