The Fender Jazz Bass is one of the most popular bass guitars ever put into production, with its timeless design and incredible versatility; it has been a staple in the roster for over 60 years. The Fender Custom Shop Artisan Jazz Bass puts a unique spin on one of Fender’s most iconic designs
The sort for lightweight Ash body is typically comfortable thanks to the lush sweeping curves, and with the addition of a 4A Burled Flame Maple Top, it looks super slick! This is one of the most unique instruments we’ve ever seen. The Natural Nitrocellulose NOS lacquer gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since it left the factory, it doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.
The Roasted 3A Flame Maple neck features a 60 J Bass "U" profile and a sweet sort for dark AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius and 6150 frets, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big low end root notes or technical work further up the neck.
Loaded with hand wound Fender 60s Vintage J Bass rhythm and lead pickup, you get period correct Fender tone, there's no mistaking that signature Fender bass thump.
With a Custom Shop hardcase, this Jazz Bass is road ready and a great piece for both players and collectors.
