An Alder body is typically comfortable thanks to the lush sweeping curves, and with a crisp 3-Colour Sunburst finish it looks real slick. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further, it also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively. The wear patterns are incredible, so genuine and authentic, Vincent Van Trigt is considered one of the King of relic work at the Custom Shop and its definitely on display here!
The Quartersawn Maple neck features a ‘60 P-Bass Oval "C" profile, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big low end root notes or technical work further up the neck. 20 vintage frets, and a 7.25" radius make this bass feel familiar and supremely comfortable.
Loaded with a Josefina Handwound '62 Precision Bass pickup, you get period correct Fender tone, theres just no mistaking that signature Fender bass thump! it really does give off the vintage vibe.
