The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop 59 Stratocaster super heavy relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A lightweight Alder body is finished in a majestic 3 Tone Sunburst relic finish. Period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The heavy, dirty checking on this guitar is super authentic, a real work of art!
The Roasted Riftsawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard. The '59 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a 60s Style Oval C neck shape, a 12" radius, 22 6100 frets and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a powerful Seymour Duncan HS4B Jeff Beck humbucker in the bridge and a pair of Hand Wound Fat 60s single coils it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
