The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition '59 Stratocaster relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in an incredible Aztec Gold over Gold Sparkle, one of Fender's lesser seen finishes, it's a real beauty! Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and an AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and 21 jumbo frets, the '59 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The '63 Strat oval C profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing. Plus, this stunner has a reverse headstock for extra cool points!
With a trio of El Diablo pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. These single coil pickups are a vintage voiced trio that share the same heritage as the super delicious Ancho Poblano and Tomatillo sets. With clinical note definition, these pickups are super responsive and full bodied.
Supplied with a Fender Custom Shop hard case, this is a real sweet example of Custom Shop quality.
