The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop ‘58 Stratocaster relic is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A traditional Alder body is finished in the incredible Super Faded Aged Surf Green, one of Fender's most iconic finishes, it's a real beauty! The Relic finish is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth medium tinted finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 narrow frets, the 58 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The ’54 Strat soft V profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.
With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s Strat pickups, it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. We love the Fat 50’s and they are a perfect complement to this powerhouse guitar.
