The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Alder body is finished in a super cool and classic Fiesta Red nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved since 1957 and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work. Complete with gold hardware this guitar certainly looks a treat!
The Roasted 3A Flame Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 9.5" radius and 21 6105 frets, the '57 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '57 Style Soft "V" neck shape which measures .850" at the 1st fret and .990" at the 12th fret. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender '50’s Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
