The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '56 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.

The 2-piece select Alder body is finished in a vibrant Faded Aged Tahitian Coral Closet Classic. Authentically aged, this guitar was built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away; it features a few dings, a checked finish, lightly oxidised hardware and aged plastic parts. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.

The rift sawn Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 8.5" radius and narrow tall frets, the '56 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 11/56  V profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.

With a trio of hand wound Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. This combination is super versatile and offers the complete Stratocaster experience.
