It has unfortunately sustained some dents and marks - as seen in the product images - but for a 20+ year old guitar, it has held up amazingly thanks to Fender Custom Shop build quality! Finished in Fiesta Red with a thin Nitro finish, the natural resonance of the body is allowed to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The Birdseye Maple neck has a smooth nitro lacquer finish and a Rosewood fingerboard that just pops with colour! The 9.5" fingerboard radius feels familiarly comfortable underhand whilst the refretted larger frets lend to easier vibrato and smooth bends; this 60's strat can handle anything you throw at it without breaking a sweat.
The trio of Custom Shop 60's Strat pickups mean you can expect all those classic strat tones that can be found used in every single genre that uses electric guitar! Sweeping, versatile tones across the board with a crisp harmonic content and a really refined and precise tone.
Loaded with a Custom Shop 6-screw tremolo and vintage tuners, you get great tuning and intonation for a seamless playing experience. Supplied with a Fender Custom Shop hard case and plenty of case candy, this is a real sweet example of Custom Shop quality.
