Fender Artist George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster | Rosewood - Hand-Painted Artwork Over Sonic Blue

Extremely Limited Run - Be Quick!

There are very few guitars as instantly recognisable as George Harrisons infamous Stratocaster, Rocky. Acquired by the supremely talented Harrison back in 1965, Rocky was originally a Sonic Blue Stratocaster that first featured on Help!, most notably on the solo to "You're going to lose that Girl". A few years later in 1967, sometime after Sgt.Pepper’s, Harrison used a selection of multicoloured dayglo paints and applied the psychedelic paint job that has made Rocky such a unique and recognisable guitar.

After the success of the incredible Custom Shop edition, our friends at Fender are honoured to introduce the Fender Artist Series George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster. Meticulously crafted using the original as a template this Strat brings the magic of Rocky to the masses!

An Alder body is flawlessly finished and beautifully captures the magic of this iconic instrument. Featuring a lovingly hand-painted finish this Strat certainly looks the part!

The Maple neck boasts a 7.25" radius and 21 Vintage frets. The ‘60s C profile feels great underhand and allows a great platform for both slick lead lines and more rugged chordal work. The Rosewood fingerboard is delicious and looks ace. This beauty even includes a replica decal on the back of the headstock from Grimwoods – the original music store where the guitar was purchased.

This Strat needs a pickup loadout that’s incredibly dynamic and diverse, with a trio of Vintage-Style ‘60s single-coils it is just that. Inspired by the original these pickups deliver a super sweet tone!

Finished off with a vintage style tremolo and a Fender tuners this Rocky Strat is the perfect tribute to one of the most iconic instruments ever created, make sure to secure yours today!
