The vintage spec Ash body is typically comfortable, as all Strat's are, finished in a classic 2-Tone Sunburst Nitrocellulose lacquer this Strat is super resonant and punchy! The traditional 1-ply pickguard looks super classy and highlights the simplistic features of early production Stratocasters.
The 1-piece Maple neck is designed for speed and comfort; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. The 21 frets, a 7.25" radius and 25.5" scale length make this Stratocaster feel familiar and supremely comfortable. With a vintage spec 1954 “C” profile this Stratocaster really does deliver a vintage playing experience!
The defining feature comes in the form of the new 70th Anniversary 1954 single coil pickups, super dynamic and offering a multi-dimensional tone, these pups are designed to sound exactly like a first-generation Strat would have sounded when it left the factory. Other appointments include a vintage-accurate synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, single-line "Fender Deluxe" tuners, and period correct pickup covers, switch tip and knobs.
