With a lightweight Mahogany body, this SG benefits from a stunning Maple top for the ultimate tonewood partnership. Rich and super resonant it offers premium tone and timeless aesthetics. The Purple Burst finish looks a million dollars and really allows the wood to breathe and the natural tone to sing through.
The Mahogany neck is topped with a crisp Ebony fingerboard with classic Gibson Trapezoid inlays, this guitar looks every bit the real deal. With a 24.75" scale length and an asymmetrical slim taper profile, it retains that classic SG feel. The LockTone Tune-0-Matic bridge and light weight tailpiece offer an authentic vintage vibe.
The defining feature of the Epiphone SG Modern is the ProBucker 2 & 3 humbuckers, which allows for almost limitless tonal possibilities. The control assembly features 4 push-pull pots which enable coil-splitting and phase switching. With Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners this SG offers incredible tuning stability, it will hold its own in any situation.
